Screening & De-stemming

Material is fed to vibratory screening for scalping and fines removal, using calibrated mesh sets matched to the product’s specified sieve profile.
Oversize streams enter the slender/de-stemming unit to strip stems and woody fragments; rejects are segregated and weighed. Air aspiration extracts light impurities. In-process checks verify mesh integrity, throughput, and foreign-matter counts. Sieve analyses and bulk-density bands are recorded per lot before release to color sorting.
